It was only natural that I asked him a few personal questions about his yoga practice.  that I share with you today.

How did you get into taking care of yourself?

Yoga came into my life out of necessity, I ran, I went to the gym but I didn't find what I needed, my body wasn't flexible and the back pain became heavy.

I started surfing late in life and thought that yoga could help me get my body more flexible. I started practicing on my own, but very quickly, Yoga took more and more space in my life, more than postures, yoga calmed my agitated mind. Thanks to it I learned to take care of my body, to channel my energy, to breathe, to meditate, to see life from a different angle. The desire to transmit came naturally.

What practice for your well-being?

I have a lot of energy so I combine a gentle practice to wake up my body then a more physical dynamic practice to surpass myself and I finish with meditation.

What is the ritual of your practice?

I sit on my mat, breathe and listen to my body. A little pranayama then I begin my practice.

What do you get out of it?

It's like I'm regenerating, the energy is circulating, my body is breathing and my mind is calming.

What do you carry in your yoga bag?

My mat or pareo if I go to the beach, water and dried fruit.

What is your favorite object/accessory?

My mala, it never leaves me.

What would be your advice for Tayrona Yoginis?

Roll out your mat, listen to yourself, put all your  heart, all your soul in your practice, respect your body, everything you need is already there. Keep the joy of practicing yoga.

Where/how do you practice?

Everywhere! Mainly in my studio but whenever possible, in the middle of nature, on the Dune du Pyla early in the morning, it's magical!

What is your mantra/favourite phrase?

My mantra is Ganesha, he moves forward, quietly, removing obstacles, but always he moves forward.
