Our eco-responsible Bikram Yoga or Hot Yoga Mats
What is Bikram Yoga
Bikram Yoga also called Hot Yoga is a type of yoga with a series of 26 dynamic asanas and created by Bikram Choudhury. Became popular in the 70s, it is practiced in a room heated to 40°C with 40% humidity. And therefore, yogis sweat a lot, between 2 and 5 liters of water per session.
Why an eco-responsible Bikram yoga mat?
Your eco-friendly bikram yoga mat must be suitable for your high-temperature practice in order to be strong enough not to crumble. But, the hot yoga mat must also have an exceptional grip to be non-slip in all your asanas as well as good cushioning to avoid injuring yourself during your session. And above all, have closed cells, for hygiene reasons so as not to retain water and sweat and thus not to develop bacteria.
