PRO range rugs are guaranteed!

Manduka guarantees that the Manduka BlackMat PRO, PROlite and PRO Travel range mats will be free from manufacturing defects and will last a lifetime as a practitioner, if you take good care of them!

The lifespan of a PVC yoga mat with regular use under normal conditions.

If upon receipt your product does not meet our quality standards, we will replace it, no matter where you purchased it.

Damage resulting from improper maintenance or misuse, modifications or alterations after purchase, neglect, or use other than that for which it was designed, is not covered by our warranty.

Examples of acceptable/warranty-covered criteria.

  • Surface imperfections (pits, bumps, cuts) at time of purchase
  • Wear and tear on the upper surface of the yoga mat from regular use which affects its performance.

The images below show PRO Series mats where regular placement of the yogi's hands/feet has caused the surface to wear beyond the useful life of the mats.

    Examples of criteria that are not acceptable/not covered by the warranty

    • Creases from improper use or storage of the carpet - Keep it spread out or rolled up flat.
    • Damage from excessive use of water or other liquids
    • Improper cleaning (i.e. harsh chemicals, damage from washing machine)
    • Damage from uses other than Yoga and other similar sports
    • Discoloration or uneven color patterns at time of purchase or after use
    • Damage from external elements/factors that damage or puncture the carpet
    • Direct and prolonged exposure to the sun

    • Cosmetic surface wear that does not affect the performance of the carpet

    • Damage caused by external elements or factors

    • Slide on the carpet

    • Bad smell due to use and lack of cleaning

    • Rugs purchased before September 1, 2008

    • Rugs marked as "Almost Perfect" at time of purchase

    • Carpets marked by scratches due to lack of maintenance of toenails (too long nails which scratch the carpet).

    The photos below show PRO Series mats with slight signs of wear that do not affect the performance of the mat and are not covered by the lifetime warranty. These rugs still have many years of life left in them.

    When they look like the pictures above, they will be covered under the lifetime warranty.

    If you would like to request a replacement for your mat, please send an email to contact@tayronalife.com. We will receive your request and determine whether or not it can be covered by the Manduka warranty, and provide you with additional instructions (form to fill out and request for photos of the damaged product) which will be sent to Manduka for the supplier's decision.

    Manduka will review the request, determine if the PRO Series mat meets its lifetime warranty criteria. You will receive a response to your request within five business days. Shipping costs for the mat are not covered by Manduka or Tayrona Yoga. Maximum 1 replacement per purchase.
