THE JEWELRY DESIGNER: CARLA PASTOR PERALTA

I started jewelry with traditional techniques learned in Peru from artisans who reproduce textile know-how to manually work metal without using fusion or welding. Over time, I have developed my own techniques for working stones but also a wide variety of recycled materials. All jewelry is made by myself in my workshop in the south of France.

PRESENTATION OF CARLA & HER CREATIONS

The creations are an invitation to travel, an open door to the world and its ancient cultures, a universe teeming with creativity imbued with my Native American origins. It is a line of refined, ethnic and ethical jewelry, which combines ingenuity and richness of materials. Carla simultaneously explores several artistic paths: Jewelry, mobiles and small sculptures intermingle and respond intuitively, in a strong, unique and original creative universe.

The creations are rooted in its Native American origins, I draw on my memories to imagine authentic jewelry where the ethnic side rubs shoulders with elegance and modernity; creations that tell stories of migration, the mixing of cultures and human spirituality.

The Jewel weaves a link between all the kingdoms: Plant, animal, mineral and human. The ethical dimension in the choice of materials is essential, respect for the balance of life inhabits my entire creative universe.
