I met Delphine Brasseur by a happy coincidence, that of social networks. A beautiful meeting full of harmony and sweetness. Delphine Brasseur is a young Belgian entrepreneur passionate about yoga and sensitive to inner balance. Delphine is a specialist in lithotherapy. She considers that stones and crystals naturally emit a "resonance" or a singular "vibration" capable of improving the well-being of the person who wears them. Because we are all looking for harmony, inner balance, serenity. The virtues and properties of stones can help us in our research.

This young designer creates custom-made Malas and bracelets, full of kindness. She makes them by hand with heart and care in her workshop in Waterloo.

Harmonie Collection malas are Tibetan rosaries (necklaces) made up of 108 beads on a flexible wire.

The semi-precious stones she uses in her creations are mainly from ethical sources. Delphine charges them with positive energy. They carry symbols and harmony. Howlite, for example, responds to the search for inner calm, Onyx gives strength and support in difficult situations and periods of mental or physical stress, Chalcedony is a stone of generosity, self-confidence and openness.

Her creations also aim to support education and female empowerment. Through the sale of her Malas, she supports the schooling of a little girl in India as part of a sponsorship via the ASBL Mala India.

So I naturally asked him to create a collection of jewelry for men and women for tayroanlife.com, which will be on sale on our site in mid-November.

Mala Harmony Collection

And as always for the portraits, I asked him some personal questions about his yoga practice that I share with you today.

How did you get into taking care of yourself?

After losing my job, I really needed to find meaning in my life, to heal a body tired by the stress of modern life, to reconnect with this body, to spiritually nourish my inner being and to listen to my emotions again to be in harmony with myself.

What practice for your well-being?

A few minutes of daily meditation, my own rituals, opening my senses by breathing in a little essential oil to be defined according to my emotional state of the moment, yoga and its philosophy of life, as well as the study of Ayurveda.

What is the ritual of your practice?

Light a candle, set an intention for how my day will go or before a yoga session, meditate for a moment before starting my yoga session.

What do you get out of it?

Inner harmony, better grounding, more vitality, a return to the present moment and the awareness that joy is always accessible within me, even in the most difficult moments of life.

What do you carry in your yoga bag?

My mat, a meditation cushion and a blanket to keep me warm at the end of the session. I always end it with a few minutes of savasana.

What is your favorite object/accessory?

My mala and my Harmonie collection bracelets in semi-precious stones, which I even wear to the office! Depending on the stones they are made of, I set a different intention for the course of my day or my yoga session.

What would be your advice for Tayrona Yoginis?

Practice a little every day, even 10 minutes for a moment of reconnection with yourself and put yourself back in the center of your bubble of inner harmony. Also, don't forget to BREATHE! I try to take at least 2 to 3 breathing breaks per day at the office, to bring relaxation into my body and return to my natural state of balance.

Where/how do you practice?

On a daily basis, I practice at home, in my creative workshop. I also really like taking Dominique Genon's Hatha Yoga classes at the Surya Center: yoga and well-being in Waterloo (Belgium) as well as the many yoga workshops at Serendip yoga & Spa in Brussels.

What is your mantra/favourite phrase?

INHALE LOVE, EXHALE GRATITUDE
