Let me introduce you to Estelle, a blogger from Aix for several years now. She passionately shares articles on her blog on various subjects that are as much about health and well-being as about food or decoration.
Always on the lookout for the latest green trends, Estelle likes to go looking for young entrepreneurial talents to unearth little gems.
It was only natural that I asked him a few personal questions about his yoga practice, which I am sharing with you today.
How did you get to take care of yourself?
Thanks to my mother and her education, I have always been aware of my body and the importance of taking care of it. I have been eating organic for many years and I treat myself with homeopathy or essential oils. It therefore seemed obvious to me to practice a physical activity in line with my lifestyle. This is why I chose Pilates.
What practice for your well-being?
I am a Pilates fan that I practice weekly with my teacher Lorraine (Pilates at Home). It is called Pilates Romana. But, from time to time, I also practice Vinyasa Yoga.
What is the ritual of your practice?
Every week I go to my private Pilates class with the aim of building muscle, of course, but also to clear my mind.
What do you get out of it?
Pilates helps me a lot to become aware of each part of my body and allows me to better understand my breathing. Nowadays, we no longer take the time to breathe through the belly when everything starts from there!
What do you carry in your yoga bag?
My mat, a towel and my stainless steel water bottle.
What is your favorite object/accessory?
My
EcoYoga mat from Tayrona of course ;)
What would be your advice for Tayrona Yoginis?
Take the time to discover the different practices before settling on one! Before moving towards Pilates, I first tried
Bikram Yoga and then
Vinyasa . You simply have to listen to yourself! The practice during which you will have the most fun will be the right one!
Where/how do you practice?
I practice Pilates in my teacher's studio and Yoga at the Qee Center.
What is your mantra/favourite phrase?
“Good Vibes Only!”
