Tatiana She has been teaching Vinyasa and Hatha yoga since 2011 and Women's Yoga since 2015. She has traveled the world and given classes in Taiwan, Moscow. She now teaches in Paris, with students of international origin.

Tatiana began practicing Vinyasa yoga between 2006 and 2010 in Taiwan with New York teacher Jody Quam. She is also very influenced by the Indian teacher Prathap, who developed his own path (Nirvana yoga) and whose teachings she followed from 2009 to 2011. Having become passionate about Ashtanga yoga, she obtained the diploma of certified teacher in this discipline in 2011 in Mysore (India). In 2014, she passed the certification of Hormone yoga with Dina Rodriguez, a technique that helps her a lot in her work with women. In 2016, she obtained a certification in pre/postnatal yoga from the De Gasquet Institute and the diploma of advanced teacher in yoga therapy in Rishikesh (India). Her varied experience allowed her to develop her own approach, Yoga for Women.

It was only natural that I asked him a few personal questions about his yoga practice, which I am sharing with you today.

How did you get into taking care of yourself?

Thanks to yoga I learned to listen to my body and my heart. Like most of us I grew up with “Do this, do that”. The result is that I lived many years next to my being. I listened to others, I tried to please them… Yoga allowed me to reconnect with my true self and follow my desires and needs. It was not easy but gradually I found myself taking more care of myself, valuing myself and feeling better about myself.

What practice for your well-being?

Having an active mind, I love the dynamic practice of Vinyasa, and I have been teaching it since 2011. At the same time, I am introducing more and more Women's Yoga into my daily practice to feel good on a physical, emotional and spiritual level. This is the style that I now favor and that I have been teaching in Paris since 2015.

What is the ritual of your practice?

No matter the length of the practice, I follow the same protocol: postures, pranayama and meditation.

What do you get out of it?

Inner peace, emotional stability, the joy of being. Each practice allows me to get closer to the best version of myself.

What do you carry in your yoga bag?

My yoga mat, my cymbals, my essential oils, my playlists, a bottle of water.

What is your favorite object/accessory?

My ring with the moonstone, the feminine stone.

What would be your advice for Tayrona Yoginis?

I always advise yoginis to listen to themselves: what do my heart and body tell me/ask me? They know everything about you and can tell you what is good for you and what is not. Listen to them and enjoy being yourself.

Where/how do you practice?

I practice in the morning at home between 30 minutes and 2 hours depending on my body's request. I also like to take classes with my yogi and yogini friends. It feels good to disconnect your mind and follow a person you love.

What is your mantra/favourite phrase?

Be yourself!
