Portrait of a Yogi: Amélie Bruder
Amélie is a sports coach, author on spirituality and personal development and yoga teacher. She wants to share with her students all the well-being that this last discipline has been able to bring her.
It was only natural that I asked him a few personal questions about his yoga practice, which I am sharing with you today .
How did you get into taking care of yourself?
Thanks to fitness, which opened the doors to well-being for me by allowing me to release my emotions and then by leading me to eat better to finally want to develop myself personally, hence my desire to train later as a yoga teacher because this discipline represents for me the link between sports practice and personal development.
What practice for your well-being?
I like dynamic yogas inspired by American flows that I associate with a time of relaxation and meditation. This is why I naturally turned to strala yoga and satiam yoga
What is the ritual of your practice?
To practice, I always try to set an intention that varies from day to day, but I try to practice systematically by letting myself go and feeling my emotions, my body and its rhythm of the day. I don't practice just to practice from a purely sporting point of view.
What do you get out of it?
Well-being, inner peace and when I really arrive and let myself be guided by my body, just ecstasy, a state that I would never want to leave. Otherwise in my everyday life, yoga and prana yamas have taught me to better manage things and to take a step back in all circumstances
What do you carry in your yoga bag?
Adequate clothing, something to hydrate myself with and my mat of course!
What is your favorite accessory?
I never take off my mineral bracelets because being receptive to energies, I must protect myself. Lithotherapy is particularly effective for this.
Tips for Tayrona Yoginis?
Stay authentic, always listen to yourself and stay close to nature, as the brand advocates. Today, yoga has sometimes been diverted from its true nature due to commercial considerations. We must not forget that we practice it above all to succeed in uniting with ourselves, in all humility and remaining ourselves
How do you practice?
For the moment mainly in the fitness room and association and sometimes at home: For me or when making my videos. Indeed, the practice of yoga is so important from an emotional and therapeutic point of view that I decided to make everyone who may need it benefit from it for free through short videos that I broadcast on my youtube channel @healingyogabyamelie
Favorite phrase?
There is no such thing as chance, only appointments.
